Cline

UNITED STATES

People tend to think of Cline as a big winery, but they’re actually fairly modest in the world of California wine. Fred and Nancy Cline started back in 1982, and Cline remains a family affair today.

Like many producers we represent, the Clines are farmers first. From their Sonoma Coast vineyards of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, to their Contra Costa heritage Zinfandel vineyards, the Cline’s fruit is usually their own. They farm organically, and have been solar powered for over 10 years. True stewards of the land, the Cline’s are always looking forward. What began as a Zin/Rhone producer, now produces Chard, Pinot, Cab, and Sauvignon Blanc. Honestly made, and honestly priced, Cline Vineyards are a joy to work with, as the California wine business ain’t making many more Clines these days.
